Richmond Oysters implements a HACCP based Food Safety Program that meets the relevant Food Acts in each state, in particular the Food Standards Australia & New Zealand requirements, which has been certified by SGS as an approved HACCP system.

Our Food Safety Plan - HACCP has been approved and implemented since January 2004. Audits will be conducted 6 monthly by the relative authority, SGS Systems & Services Certification.

PrimeSafe - Since their assumption of governing health authority over the Seafood industry in January 2004, PrimeSafe have inspected our premises and vehicles and reviewed our applications. To their satisfaction, they have issued Richmond Oysters with a permit and continue to conduct audits on a yearly basis.
