Southern Rock Lobster (FRESH CRAYFISH)
Southern Rock Lobster is the most prize delicacy of the Australian seafood industry! Only found in the waters of southern Australia and New Zealand, most of this premium seafood is live exported to markets in Japan, China and elsewhere through South East Asia. The local lobster season is tightly managed on an annual quota basis. The main season through Victoria and South Australia and Tasmania officially opening close to the start of December each year.
Lobster orders through our online store are sold at a DEPOSIT VALUE only. You will be required to pay any difference in weight or base value upon collection. You may elect to have your lobster cut & cleaned or left whole. At this stage, if you wish to purchase live or raw lobsters you must contact us in store directly.
All quantities are quoted at approximate weight ranges with the minimum weight in the range setting the deposit value. You must pay the difference in the actual cost upon collection. The per kg price can change daily within a range generally of $120-150 per kg.
